New report by EU-OSHA and ENETOSH

This new report, written by Heinz Hundeloh, former Head of the Educational Institutions Division of the Statutory Accident Insurance for the public sector in North Rhine-Westphalia (Unfallkasse NRW) and of the Educational Institutions Department of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) and Ulrike Bollmann, International Cooperation Unit, Institute for Work and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), Coordinator of the European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH), published under the project management of Lorenzo Munar, European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), has been released on 26 April and is now available.

Military aggression against Ukraine

On 31 March, the ENETOSH Steering Committee decided to temporarily block the organisation members from Russia on the ENETOSH website. The Russian war of aggression is incompatible with ENETOSH's principles.

New Member from Hungary

We are glad to welcome the National Center for Spinal Disorders (OGK) from Hungary as a new member of the ENETOSH network. The National Center for Spinal Disorders, an affiliate of the Buda Health Center, is the only hospital in Hungary covering virtually the entire diagnostic and treatment spectrum of all disorders of the spine.

ENETOSH - EU-OSHA Online Event

How can schools contribute to the early, long-term prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs)? On 23 June 2022 experts from occupational safety and health, public health and education will explore options for common courses across these three political areas. The online event will be conducted by the European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH) in cooperation with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) and supported by the German Focal Point of EU-OSHA.

EU Strategic Framework for Health and Safety at Work (2021-2027)

The European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE) has made recommendations on the new EU Strategic Framework, regarding the occupational health and safety (OSH) of teachers, academics and other education personnel across Europe.

European Union Initiative

The European Union started this initiative to give young people the opportunity to make a contribution to a better future - greener, more inclusive and digital. Several activities, conferences, actions and partnerships are planned throughout the year 2022.

Special call for youth participation

The third World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) aims at reshaping ideas and practices in higher education to ensure sustainable development for the planet and humanity. This conference (Barcelona, 18 to 20 May 2022) recognizes youth as game-changers contributing to the redefinition of higher education and its future demands. Furthermore, the UNESCO WHEC2022 Youth Platform is officially launched! Young people are invited to join in the World Higher Education Conference Youth Strategy, participating in a range of dynamic activities including calls, webinars, masterclasses, consultations, and podcasts, among others.

The 11th international Workingonsafety.net (WOS.net) conference "Focus on Humans in a Technological World" will be held from 25- 28th September 2022 in the Real Marina Hotel & Spa, in the city of Olhão, Algarve, Portugal.

The deadline for submissions has been prolonged to February 15th!

Outputs available

The RiskMan project by the Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Universidad do Minho (Portugal) and AUVA Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt (Austria) has started publishing its outputs and results.

November 2021

On November 11, 2021, The Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA) presented the first ever International Day Conference, as part of the OH2021 conference of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS).
