  • AEIP
    The European Association of Paritarian Institutions (AEIP) represents the social protection institutions jointly managed by social partners (paritarian institutions) and aims to promote the paritarian management of social protection at the EU-level. This has been its key objective since its founding in 1996.

    American Society of Safety Engineers
    Founded in 1911, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) is the world’s oldest professional safety society. ASSE promotes the expertise, leadership and commitment of its members, while providing them with professional development, advocacy and standards development. It also sets the occupational safety, health and environmental community’s standards for excellence and ethics.

    ASEAN-OSHNET as an effective network in fostering a safe and healthy working environment to bring about a productive and competitive workforce, towards a better quality of life. Member countries are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The mission of the network is beneficial cooperation and solidarity among the national OSH institutions of the ASEAN countries, high capability of national OSH institutions in OSH promotion, training and research, free flow of OSH information, particularly through utilization of information and communication technology, as well as harmonization of OSH standards and guidelines.
    The members countries all have a focus on one of the different fields of OSH. The Philippines have their focus on the field of education and training.

  • BALcanOSH
    BALcanOSH.net is a wide network of professional civil society organizations, supported by the social partners in promoting the idea that creating a preventive culture can lead to safer and healthier jobs. During the BALcanOSH initial meeting in Pristina in September 2016, the new network was initiated.
    MOSHA (Macedonian Occupational Safety And Health Association), a member of the ENETOSH network, is the leading institution, in partnership with the Serbian, Kosovar, Albanian and Montenegrin OSH associations, in associate partnership with the IOSH, Croatian OSH institute, Slovenian association of safety engineers and Bulgarian OSH foundation.

    European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training

    Cedefop is the European Agency to promote the development of vocational education and training (VET) in the European Union.
    TTnet is a network of national networks set up by Cedefop in 1998 as a Pan-European forum for key players and decision-makers in the training and professional development of vocational teachers and trainers all over Europe.

    European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training
    EfVET is one of the leading European-wide professional associations which has been created by, and for, Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers. EfVET’s policy and strategy are formulated by its member colleges and VET institutions. It collaborates with but is independent of all government and funding bodies. Its income is derived from membership subscription, grants and sponsorship.

  • EMIL
    European Map of Intergenerational Learning
    EMIL is a collaborative learning network that aims to provide a general overview of the role and status of intergenerational learning. It undertakes this through collecting, exchanging, and distributing ideas and resources and by supporting regional, European and global networking strategies. EMIL brings together a range of partnerships promoting and supporting intergenerational learning in all its varied forms.

    European Network for Mental Health Promotion
    The ENMHP is a network for people interested in mental health promotion. ENMHP has more than 1600 members from Europe and beyond. ENMHP membership includes policy makers, practitioners and educators. The network aims to influence practitioners, policy makers, professionals and administrators. ENMHP builds on the work of ProMenPol project. ProMenPol was a 36-month project being undertaken by partners from Germany, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Estonia, Greece and Belgium. The project was a co-ordination action funded by the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme. One of the tasks of the project was to improve the understanding of health determinants (specifically: to increase understanding/ knowledge across Member States in research terms, of health promotion and health protection policy for mental health, comparison of best practice, the prevention of mental disorders in environments such as educational institutions, workplaces, residential homes for the elderly, together with an identification of the impact of such measures on cognitive and emotional development).

    The European Network for Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP) is an informal network of national occupational health and safety institutes, public health, health promotion and statutory social insurance institutions. ENWHP is a platform for all stakeholders interested in the improvement of workplace health and committed to working towards the vision & mission of the ENWHP: "healthy employees in healthy organisations". Currently the network has national contact offices in 28 countries.

    The European Network of Safety and Health Professional Organisations (ENSHPO) brings together safety and health professional organisations from the current EU member states, new member states, applicant countries, and other European countries.
    On 19th September 2007, a Memorandum of Understanding between ENSHPO and ENETOSH was signed. This memorandum of Understanding aims at a future co-operation between both networks especially in the area of education and training.

  • EPNoSL
    European Policy Network on School Leadership
    The European Policy Network on School Leadership (EPNoSL) is a partner-run consortium created in 2011 in response to the increasing European focus on school leaders’ professional development, including preparation and selection of school leaders. EPNoSL aims at improving policy and practice on school leadership in Europe. To this effect a collaborative network in which members co-construct, manage and share knowledge has been set up.
    EPNoSL has grown into a network of stakeholders from 42 European based institutions. EPNoSL partners include academic and other experts engaged in key thematic areas, education ministries and other policymakers, as well as professional associations at national, regional and European levels. In addition, research and capacity-building actors serve a fundamental role in enabling and facilitating meaningful exchanges among partners, as well as evaluation and dissemination of findings.

    European Network for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training
    EQAVET (former name: ENQUA-VET) is a community of practice bringing together Member States, Social Partners and the European Commission to promote European collaboration in developing and improving quality assurance in VET by using the European Quality Assurance Reference Framework. EQAVET was established by the European Commission in October 2005 to support the implementation of the Copenhagen Declaration:
    In November 2002, the European Ministers of Vocational Education and Training meeting in Copenhagen agreed “to increase voluntary cooperation in vocational education and training, in order to promote mutual trust, transparency and recognition of competences and qualifications, and thereby establishing a basis for increasing mobility and facilitating access to lifelong learning”.
    “Promoting cooperation in quality assurance with particular focus on exchange of models and methods, as well as common criteria and principles for quality in vocational education and training” was seen as a key priority in the Copenhagen Declaration.

    EuroSafe’s mission is to prevent home and leisure accidents by working in partnership with industry, governments, research institutes and health and safety practitioners to help reduce the greatest risks. Supported by its members, EuroSafe exists to promote: Better sharing of resources: To organise the exchange of injury data and successful practices in prevention and to develop partnerships for joint projects.

  • Eurydice
    The Eurydice Network provides information on and analyses of European education systems and policies.
    It consists of 42 national units based in 38 countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme (28 Member States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey). It is coordinated and managed by the EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency in Brussels, which drafts its publications and databases.

    European Vocational Training Association
    The European Vocational Training Association – EVTA, is a leading European network in the field of Vocational Education and Training, representing VET providers across Europe. Established in Belgium in 1998 as an International No-Profit Association (AISBL), EVTA is the result of the cooperation between VET providers from different EU countries in the framework of the Euroqualification project.

  • Focal Point Network of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU OSHA)
    EU-OSHA’s main safety and health information network is made up of a focal point in each EU Member State, as well as in Candidate and potential Candidate Countries and EFTA countries. Focal points are nominated by each government as the Agency's official representative in that country, and they are normally the national authority for safety and health at work.
    The members of the Agency Contact group “Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health” are in turn nominated by the focal points.
    According to the Community Strategies and the current Strategic Framework on OSH the EU-Agency is carrying out activities in the field of mainstreaming OSH into education since 2002. The Agency provides a special website dedicated to Mainstreaming OSH into education.

  • GeoLibrary
    Geolibrary.org is an electronic library of occupational and environmental health training materials with a specialty branch, Road Safety at Work. The library user information is available in six languages, and contains training materials and practice tools located in the public domain and are available to the user free of charge.
    The GeoLibrary is a project of the Network of Collaborating Centres Work Plan in support of the WHO strategy of “Occupational Health for All.”

    International Commission on Occupational Health
    In 1985, the ICOH established a Scientific Committee on Education and Training in Occupational Health. This Scientific committee has been established to improve education and training in the field of health and safety at work, inclusive the education of medical students and students of other relevant disciplines, the education of occupational health nurses, occupational physicians, occupational hygienists, safety experts, psychologists, and other experts in occupational safety and health (OSH), and the education of non-OSH experts relevant for occupational safety and health, such as general practitioners in primary health care, human resource managers and engineers.
    The aim is to raise the level of knowledge and skills on all aspects of occupational safety and health. The education and training includes not only the vocational training of relevant professionals but also the cycle of lifelong learning. The committee is similarly committed to the education and training in occupational safety and health of workers and managers, their representatives, and of volunteers active in this field. As education and access to and use of reliable information are closely connected, the committee will take the need to improve access and use of reliable information into account.

  • ILO-CIS Network
    International Occupational Safety and Health Knowledge Network
    Enhancing OSH knowledge and information networking activities is a strategic objective of the ILO. A key role is to enrich the worldwide dialogue on prevention through various means and activities aiming together at strengthening and actively supporting the contribution of knowledge in OSH to the large societal debates on the topic. The Collaboration Network, formerly known as the network of CIS National and Collaborating Centres, provides a basis for collaboration among OSH agencies, institutions and organizations.

    The International Network of Safety & Health Practitioner Organisations (INSHPO)
    INSHPO is the global voice for the occupational safety and health profession and acts as a forum for international collaboration among professional organisations to improve safety and health at work. INSHPO started from an appreciation that occupational safety and health issues and concerns are not limited by national borders. With the increasing worldwide distribution of products and provision of services, the widespread migration of workers, and the conduct of international corporate activities, almost every issue that occupational safety and health professionals face is global in scope. Yet, in this climate, practising generalists often lack the facility to influence policymakers on a global scale and establish effective, mutually supportive international networks and address concerns of common interest. In response, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE), and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in the United Kingdom created INSHPO in 2001. INSHPO has since grown to include 14 member organisations in 11 countries.

    Global database on OSH agencies, institutions and organizations
    INTEROSH is a global database, provided by the International Labour Organization ILO, on agencies, institutions and organizations actively engaged in knowledge development, capacity enhancement and dissemination of information in the vast technical domain of occupational health and safety. It covers their main functions, governance modalities, resources, research priorities, strategy, delivery of services, public awareness-raising activities, and international networking practices. Users can browse information and download source documents such as reports and publications. Contact information is made available in order to facilitate direct exchanges and collaboration.

  • IOHA
    International Occupational Hygiene Association
    The International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) represents the global community of occupational hygienists. IOHA is an association of occupational hygiene organisations from across the world, all of which are dedicated to the discipline and application of the inherent principles of occupational hygiene.
    The Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA) was formed to promote better standards of occupational hygiene practice throughout the world and provide training in the discipline. IOHA supports OHTA and are working together to provide formal recognition of the qualifications delivered by the OHTA training programmes.

    International Safety and Health Construction Co-ordinators Organization
    The foundation members saw the objective of the association as the protection of the safety and health of all the contributors to a building project. This objective will be realized through a homogenous global training program, common means and the transposition of the basic legal framework. It is set by the national member associations whom we are offering career development opportunities, greater practical experience as well as the promotion of their scientific capacities, specifically the reinforcement of the professional identity of the safety and health coordinators in Europe and beyond.

  • ISSA: Special Commission on Prevention
    The Special Commission on Prevention of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) is composed of 13 international prevention sections. One of these sections is dedicated to education and training for prevention.
    The ISSA is the world's leading international organization for social security institutions, government departments and agencies. The ISSA promotes excellence in social security administration through professional guidelines, expert knowledge, services and support to enable its members to develop dynamic social security systems and policy throughout the world. Founded in 1927 under the auspices of the International Labour Organization, the ISSA counts more than 320 member organizations in over 150 countries.

  • Maquiladora Health & Safety Support Network
    The Maquiladora Health & Safety Support Network was launched in October 1993 at the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA). It includes occupational health specialists primarily from Canada, Mexico and the United States who are active in the APHA, American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), National Safety Council (NSC) and the 20-plus local grassroots Committees for Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) groups in the U.S. and Canada.
    The Network has expanded its work from Mexico to include projects in Bangladesh, Central American, China, the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
    The Maquiladora Health & Safety Support Network is a volunteer network of 300 occupational safety and health professionals who have placed their names on a resource list to provide information, technical assistance and on-site instruction regarding workplace hazards to worker and community organizations in the developing world. Network members, including industrial hygienists, toxicologists, epidemiologists, occupational physicians and nurses, and health educators among others, are donating their time and expertise to create safer and healthier working conditions for workers employed by transnational corporations around the world.

    National Association of Organizations in Occupational Safety and Health was founded in 2011. At present its membership consists of 67 organizations all over Russia. They deal with issues of training and education in occupational safety and render services in occupational safety and health.
    In the scope of the 14th ENETOSH Network Meeting in Turin, a Memorandum of Understanding between NAOOSH and ENETOSH was signed on 5th November 2012. The aim of the memorandum is to establish relations between the two organizations with a view of strengthening and extending cooperation between the Russian Federation and European Union's countries in the sphere of education and training in occupational safety and health.

  • National Education Union - On-Line Health And Safety Forum
    Following a suggestion at a national training event for its Health and Safety Advisers, the National Union of Teachers (NUT), United Kingdom, established an on-line health and safety forum in February 2016 so that members could communicate with each other, develop networks, share good practice/success stories, publicise events and seek answers to particular questions. There are currently 109 members, including NUT school representatives, health and safety representatives, health and safety advisers and staff. When a member of the group sends an email from the group email address, it goes to everyone in the group and replies also go to all members.

  • Network of WHO/Collaborating Centres in occupational health
    As a designated WHO collaborating centre, the members of the global network of WHO collaborating centres for occupational health's overall purpose is to assist the organization in implementing the World Health Assembly Resolution 60.26: the Global Plan of Action on Workers' Health, 2008-2017. Members of the network are currently undertaking activities in line with the workplan objectives for the period 2012-2017.

  • OIC-Oshnet
    OIC Network for Occupational Safety and Health (OIC-OSHNET) is a transnational networks project under the framework of Vocational Education and Training Programme for Islamic Countries (OIC-VET). It was proposed by the Statistical Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) in order to establish closer cooperation for sharing knowledge, experience and new technologies, conduct joint research and training, exchange of good practices and to organize new initiatives, projects and programmes in the field of Occupational Safety and Health among similar local, national and regional institutions, OSH researchers and practitioners, national authorities, policy makers, social security institutions and employers' and workers' organizations active in this field in the OIC Member Countries.

  • OPUS
    Open participation network for school health. "OPUS" is the Name of a pilot project on school health promotion. He was carried out from 1997 to 2000, as a model experiment of the Bund-Länder Commission for educational planning and research promotion (BLK), with the participation of 15 provinces and almost 500 employees of the schools in Germany. Committed teachers, students and parents were strengthened through regular exchange of information, coordinated training, mutual support and flow of information in their daily work. Schools received impulses for the anchoring of health promotion in the school program and were able to implement on the network information collected and supports in their own practice. Due to their Status as a network school, schools and especially health promotion in schools gained more attention, appreciation and acceptance of their work in public.

  • OSHAfrica
    OSHAfrica, structured with a Regional Administrative Office in Lagos, Nigeria, and with sub-regional leadership offices across all African sub-regions, launched the OSHAfrica web platform with the aim of bringing activities closer to each OSHAfrican.
    Occupational Safety and Health Africa Foundation with the trademark OSHAfrica is a Pan-African Occupational Safety and Health organisation legally registered in 2017 with the principal aim of bringing together Occupational Safety and Health professionals across Africa, creating an atmosphere for collaborative work, sharing of knowledge and OSH data across different countries and sub-regions of Africa. One of the founders (from Nigeria) is a member of the ENETOSH network. Of course, Education and Training in OSH across Africa is one of the important topics of OSHAfrica.

  • Robert W. Campbell Award
    The US National Safety Council (NSC) with global partners organise the Robert W. Campbell Award, an international award for business excellence. The Award recognizes companies that have successfully integrated health, safety and environmental management into their overall business operations.
    The Award programme is supported by a network of more than 20 Global Partners across five continents. The Award business cases have been converted to be used as resources for engineering and business schools, and to promote partnerships with business schools and cooperation among professors/lecturers.
    In 2009, ENETOSH joined the global network of the Robert W. Campbell Award.

  • SHE network
    Schools for Health in Europe network (SHE) aims to support organisations and professionals to further develop and sustain school health promotion in each country by providing the European platform for school health promotion. The network is coordinated by CBO, as a WHO Collaborating Centre for School Health Promotion.

  • School Health Research Network
    The School Health Research Network (SHRN) brings together secondary schools and academic researchers, policy-makers and practitioners from health, education and social care to improve young people’s health and wellbeing in the school setting. It is a partnership between Welsh Government, Public Health Wales (PHW), Cancer Research UK and the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods. It is led by the Centre for the Development and Evaluation of Complex Interventions for Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer) at Cardiff University.

    European Research Network on Vocational Education and Training
    The European Research Network in Vocational Education and Training (VETNET) covers a broad range of research and development activities in vocational education and training (VET). The field of VET-related research covers both initial VET and continuing vocational training, both school-based and workplace-based learning provisions as well as the development of pedagogic expertise for vocational and professional education.

  • Young PARE
    Young PARE is a working group of the Standing Committee of PARE, which is embedded within EULAR, the European League against Rheumatism. Within the Young PARE working group, there are a series of five committees.
    Young PARE aims to improve the quality of life of young people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs) by raising the profile of these conditions, and by creating a network of individuals who work in European countries on behalf of young people with RMDs.
    The Young PARE Working Group consists of eight representatives from different European countries. These individuals have first-hand experience of living with an RMD, and are passionate about supporting other young people with RMD. The Working Group are supported by the Young PARE Committees, consisting of five groups of individuals focusing on different aspects of Young PARE’s work.

  • Youth Wiki
    The Youth Wiki is Europe's online encyclopaedia in the area of national youth policies. The platform is a comprehensive database of national structures, policies and actions supporting young people. It covers the eight main fields of action identified in the 2010-2018 EU Youth Strategy: education and training, employment and entrepreneurship, health and well-being, participation, voluntary activities, social inclusion, youth and the world, and creativity and culture.
