The overall aim and scope of the study is to systematically analyze good-practice examples of mainstreaming OSH into education and training and make empirically based statements on trends and promising models. The examples that were collected by the European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH) over the last ten years are being analyzed. Objectives of the study are to systematically analyse a wealth of experience, facilitate access to good practice examples, identify models for the integration for safety and health, improve the transformation process and to determine trends.

The three lead questions of the study are:
What characterizes the integration of safety and health into education?
What characterizes the creation of safe and healthy learning and working environments?
How do safety and health contribute to improve the quality of education and work?

Six categories for a systematic approach are chosen:
- Participation
- Empowerment
- Sustainability
- Networking
- Focus on target group
- Evaluation

Additional categories are:
- Prevention Approach (e.g. BBS, setting-based prevention)
- Policy Focus (OSH, Education, Public health, Business)
- Level of aggregation (micro, meso, macro)
- Type of intervention (e.g. information, awareness raising)
- Form of offer (e.g. training, consultation, campaign, social media)
- Methods (e.g. risk assessment, interactive website, real life reference)

The final results of this study will be published later this year.
