The School-Based Health Awareness Program It is an awareness program that focuses on a set of awareness-raising activities and initiatives; with a view to improving health knowledge, promoting behavioral attitudes, and enhancing healthy behaviors in the school community.
Objectives: Raising students' health awareness about health issues, introducing students to their health problems, and developing their self-control over them, getting proper health behaviors in the school community.
Program Components: GCC / International Days, GCC Adolescent & Youth Health Day, World Diabetes Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, World No Tobacco Day.
Awareness Visits: Oral Health, Adolescent health and healthy marriage, Communicable diseases and their prevention, Mental health and video game addiction (internet gaming disorder), Physical activity and obesity control.
Awareness Programs: Food awareness, Healthy sleep.
