During the seminar, Justina Pluktaite from Pardubice Chemical Secondary School presented the OSHVET project, an initiative supported by EU-OSHA. The project aims to increase awareness of occupational safety and health (OSH) among teachers and students involved in vocational education and training (VET). OSHVET provides practical resources and information on OSH at regional and national levels within the EU, EEA, and candidate countries.

In addition, Radka Sokolová, Vice-Chairperson of the Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions (ČMKOS), shared insights on providing effective support to students' OSH competencies before entering the workforce. Her presentation focused on equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure their health and safety at work.

As the importance of OSH education continues to grow, it would be valuable for initiatives like ENETOSH’s database of good practices to play a key role in sharing successful strategies and tools. This could potentially help to further mainstream OSH education across schools and vocational programs, fostering cross-border collaboration and learning.
