Through mental, emotional, physical and social health interventions, schools will be places of learning, teaching and working for students, teachers, and staff. This approach will lead educational excellence by disseminating the GHSI while enriching the approach with practical examples, identifying and connecting collaborators with opportunities to improve outcomes, developing and refining qualitative definitions of success and exploring, documenting, and promoting best practices from around the globe.
The Good Healthy Schools Initiative represents a transformative approach to education and health. It challenges to rethink how to view the role of schools and to embrace a holistic, integrated model that supports the well-being of every member of the school community.
