As founder and president of ENETOSH, Ulrike Bollmann had the honor of preparing and moderating a round table discussion on “The Youth Challenge in OSH”. Participants in the discussion were: Joaquim Pintado Nunes, ILO; Fahad Alqahtani, King Saud University; Hanadi Al Hokair, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development; Eelaf Othman, Elevate program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology; Raneem Alharthy, Leaf Global Environmental Service and Montadar Alashoor, Dow's Middle East Innovation Centre.

In addition, Ulrike participated in a panel discussion on “The Role of Training, Awareness, and Research in Building the Future of an Effective Occupational Safety and Health Culture,” moderated by Anita Mendiratta, together with representatives from IOSH, NIOSH Malaysia, NEBOSH, and the University of Alberta. On the last day of the conference, Ulrike conducted a training workshop on “Promotion of safety, health, and well-being in educational settings.”

Overall, GOSH7 stood out for its high-quality content, particularly the innovative keynote speeches on topics such as occupational health and AI, as well as the intensive professional and interpersonal exchange across cultural boundaries.

The seventh Occupational Safety and Health Conference in Riyadh was attended by 8,000 participants from 46 countries on site and more than 10,000 participants virtually. There were 169 speakers, 20 panel discussions, and 49 training workshops. Sixteen local and international cooperation agreements were signed.
