Delft TopTech, school of executive education at Delft University of Technology, offers a unique Master’s programme in Safety, Health and Environment Management. Geared towards training safety experts, policy makers and advisors, this programme provides insight into the importance of an integrated management and policy framework that takes account of occupational and environmental hygiene and health issues. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between SHE and management, and balances managerial skills and technical knowledge. Participants learn how, and when, to change existing systems and methods, as well as how to place safety on the agenda in the boardroom. In teaching a balanced combination of visionary, managerial and implementation skills, the programme enhances the career potential of its graduates and adds value to organisations.
