Charlie Waller is one the UK’s most respected mental health charities, founded by the family of Charlie Waller who took his own life in 1997 whilst suffering from depression. The charity helps young people to understand their own mental health, to equip them to support themselves and those around them, and to empower them to talk more openly about the subject.
Charlie Waller wants to improve young people’s understanding of their mental health and wellbeing and to equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to look out for themselves, their friends and those around them.
Most of the work is delivered to those responsible for young people - schools, families, colleges, universities, the workplace and primary care - through consultancy, training and the provision of educational and practical resources.
This website offers mental health training, information and resources.
