Promotion of mental health through education
MindMatters originally comes from Australia and has been available to schools as a German-language version of MindMatters since 2003. Following MindMatters' success in secondary and primary education, the program now also supports vocational schools on their way to becoming good, healthy schools. With the teaching module “Fit for training and work!”, which has been available since 2015.
The target group of the program includes all grades from 1 to 13 and is aimed at general and vocational schools alike. In addition, MindMatters has been more closely aligned with school developments since 2011. Competence orientation and the ability to connect to inclusive concepts have been valid guidelines in the MindMatters teaching modules ever since. In addition, all modules will in future contain components to promote teacher health and parent cooperation.
