The Centre for Risk, Safety and the Environment (CERIDES) is part of The Ioannis Gregoriou School of Business Administration, which is actively engaged in the implementation of substantial basic and applied research activities in the fields of Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Business Administration.

CERIDES was established on 24th June 2011. It’s mission is: to promote to the wider public and the local SME (industrial and business) communities the values and necessities of safety; to provide to the local SME (industrial and business) communities applied solutions, executive training and consulting; to create a new generation of highly educated researchers and scholars in the areas of Risk, Safety and the Environment.

The Ioannis Gregoriou School of Business CERIDES aims to foster high level research and development, to provide tailor made services to the local and wider business and industrial community and finally to establish itself as a provider of high level educational output in the areas of safety and risk assessment in the micro and macro environment.

CERIDES is a founding member of the Cyprus Safety Platform. CERIDES is a member of the European Technology Platform in Industrial Safety (ETPIS).
