In 2005, the first German educational Institution to merge an advanced technical college with a university was in Lüneburg. The resulting new model University Lüneburg distinguishes itself by a modern study program, one which offers the internationally accepted Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
Lüneburg University unifies the characteristics of the formally separated university systems: on the one hand, a strong commitment to practical application, and on the other hand, a strong relation with research. Lüneburg University has become an important institution related to research development as well as qualification certification in Northern Germany.
The Institute for Evaluation and Quality-Development
The Institute for Evaluation and Quality-development, as a research and transfer facility of Lüneburg University, combines various skills and enhances professionalization in the area of evaluation and quality development. The institute acts as contact and consultant for business and organizations, answering questions regarding evaluation procedures, feedback procedures, criterion production, as well as self-evaluation procedures and data analysis.
The Institute faithfully pursues the following tasks:
Implementation of evaluations in diverse work areas
Development of technical-scientific standards for the evaluation of programs and measurements
Advancement of the expertise in information exchange, as well as active transfer through scientific counseling, in both public and private areas through the use of evaluation.

Prof. Dr. Sabine Remdisch and Dr. Andreas Utsch from the Institute for Evaluation and Quality-development lead the evaluation of the ENETOSCH-Project. The evaluation of the project is process-oriented and they are in progress of participating with all involved parties.

Prof. Dr. Sabine Remdisch is a professor for evaluation and organization. Her emphasis lies in the areas of evaluation, feedback systems, quality-management, organizational development, coaching and development potential. She is the founder and leader of the Institute for Evaluation and Quality-Development at the University Lüneburg.
Dr. Andreas Utsch is a research associate for the University Lüneburg as well as for the Institute for Evaluation and Quality-Development within the area of evaluation and economics. He has organized and consulted a multitude of evaluations within several areas.
