The program “Aula Permanente” (initial health and safety training) will be a requisite to obtain the “Tarjeta Profesional de la Construcción” (Construction Industry Professional Card)
The card will be the reference for the standardization of the initial OHS (Occupational Health and Safety Training) in Construction. The card is plastic made with magnetic band and will incorporate professional ranking and work experience, and it could include other data according to new needs in the future.
For the implementation of the card a process management has to start

• to inform and motivate the workers to use the card
• to inform about the procedure centres and the procedure to get the card
• to inform on the procedures and documentation needed to obtain the card
• to inform about the application process

| Bild: | To place the Construction Industry Professional Card (TPC) as the reference card within the construction sector, linked to health and safety training, which aim, among others, will be:

• to demonstrate specific training in health and safety
• to standardized the health and safety training in the sector
• to improve the quality of the training programs

which in turn will help to reduce the number of accidents at the construction sites in Spain and will assure that all construction workers have taken OSH training. It is expected that in medium term 75% of the workforce will hold the card.
