Aims
The aim of studies is to transfer knowledge and shape the students’ ability on the level necessary to manage independently all activities, projects and implementation processes connected with safety, occupational hygiene and ergonomics at the workplace.
Short description
During the educational process the students acquire current knowledge regarding ergonomics, safety and health protection, analysis and assessment of occupational risk, safety and work hygiene management. They also advance their skills in designing, implementing, maintaining and mastering systems of occupational safety management. Special emphasis is placed on providing students with the ability of practical use of the knowledge acquired.
The studies take place at the premises of the WUT in Warsaw. However, the students have the possibility of taking advantage of WOSI (virtual centre of Internet studies) that was launched at the Technical University in Warsaw.
The stationary course of studies is divided into 16 sessions. The sessions take place once or twice a month and last 2 days (Friday and Saturday). The fee equals 5 000 PLN for 2 semesters (including didactic materials).
Access requirements
Application form, questionnaire, copy of a higher education diploma (MA or BA).
Evaluation
Evaluation is made on the basis of standard evaluation questionnaires used at the WUT.

Available material
The students receive 3 course books (written by the lecturers) as well as copies of other materials (handouts for lectures), lectures in power point format and specialist brochures of educational agencies.
