Raise Your Hand

The "Raise Your Hand" project encourages young workers to be pro-active about their own workplace safety by educating them on their three basic rights:
The website offers a couple of main areas: "Events", "Know your rights", "Information and statistics on injuries", "Questions and answers" and the "Rhythmixer".

The "Rhythmixer"
By using this tool, young workers can create a Hip-Hop-like slam poetry mix using the online rhythm mixer. The music tracks can be entered in a contest to win a prize.
"Raise Your Hand" is active in several social media as well, it offers a weblog, a Facebook page and a Twitter acount.
This is a project by WorkSafeBC from Canada. WorkSafeBC is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of this province. We consult with and educate employers and workers and monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
