The aim of this project by Landesvereinigung für Gesundheit Niedersachsen e.V. (Health association Lower Saxony) in association with Akademie für Sozialmedizin Nds. e.V. (LVG & AFS), Symrise GmbH & Co. KG, City of Holzminden, Regional Authorities and University of Fulda (2007-2009) is promotion of healthy child development in times of malnutrition, lack of physical excercises and restricted self-creatable play- and experience-grounds.
Children are supposed to be introduced to healthy nutrition, more physical excercises and creation of their living environment in a playful way.
In the munching garden (Naschgarten) in the city centre of Holzminden, the children can put their own play- and garden-ideas into practice. They are involved in planning, gardening and harvest.
