The Occupational Safety and Health Directorate is the main directory of State Labor Inspectorate in Albania. This one covers two sectors in the headquarters office and 12 Regional Directories in every district of Albania (The number of the staff covered by this directory is 170 persons).
Mrs. Gjino's responsibilities are:
- To lead the Directory of OSH based in the government policy and with ensuring compliance with the labour low, the Occupational Healthy and Safety Act and all other relevant labour legislation presently in force.
- Based in the field monitoring and the regional directories reports to assess the situation of Occupational Safety and Health in every district and to assure support for every regional directory according to the needs.
- To organize periodic control in every regional directorate according to the Occupational Safety and healthy problems, to give purpose and direction too, and enhance the effectiveness and impact of headquarters directory and field office activities.
- To propose raising the working groups for different problems according to the occupational safety and healthy problems.
- To assure cooperation with national and international organizations and agreements with other organizations dealing with the sector, both government agencies and NGO-s.
- Preparation of monthly and annual reports for chairman of State Labour Inspectorate

State Labour Inspectorate (SLI) is a central public institution, under the Minister of Labour Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, which is composed by the General Directorate on central level, regional directorates and local labour inspection offices. SLI is managed by the Inspector General who is the highest executive authority and responses to the Minister of Labour Social Affers and Equal Opportunities.
