ENETOSH Internet platform presented at the 6th Congress on Work and Organisational Psychology

The 6th Congress on Work and Organisational Psychology” dedicated to the motto “Networks and their interconnecting character” was held from 22 to 24 May 2006 in Leipzig. 450 visitors from 11 countries with representatives of companies, organisations, science and consultancy attended the event. The aim of the event was to point out the increasing relevance of formal and informal networks for the globalisation and internationalisation in the world of work.

In accordance with the congress’ motto the ENETOSH Internet platform was presented officially to the public for the first time. It aims to serve as a transnational network for the exchange of experience in the integration of occupational safety and health into education and training. Visitors of the ENETOSH stand at the Foyer of the congress’ venue RAMADA-TREFF Hotel Leipzig received a first impression of the distribution and use of good practice (Good Practice section) and concrete materials (Toolbox) for the integration of occupational safety and health into education and training via this platform.

Lecturers and trainers who teach occupational safety and health can already make use of it to for their day-to-day practice. The site also provides contact data to major bodies in Europe who are actively involved in integrating occupational safety and health into education and training.

The congress was organised by „Sektion Wirtschaftspsychologie“ (Work and Organisational Psychology), section of BDP e.V, in co-operation with „Verband zur Förderung der Wirtschaftspsychologie „WiPs e. V.“ (Association for the promotion of work and organisational psychology „WiPs e. V.“).
